LEO VRILLAUD (PORTUGAL)- PIANO

Leo is Young Portuguese-French Pianist and Composer. He started playing Piano at the age of 7. He then joined the Albufeira’s Conservatory, where he studied performance in classical music until he was 16. That’s when he started to study jazz at the Professional Course of Jazz Performer at Bemposta (Portugal), graduating with honors. In that same year he won two honorary prizes at the prestigious Nacional Competition of the Festival “Festa do Jazz”(São Luiz theater) and continued studying jazz with the celeritous Jazz musician and teacher Zé Eduardo (one of the most important names in Iberian Jazz). Leo’s got plenty of experience as a performer in different projects both as soloist as well as accompanist with several well known musicians.He has also worked as teaching assistant for Pianist and Professor Pablo Lapidusas.
