Multi-talented, versatile and successful artist, Paola Vergara is an established musician from Mexico. Starting at a young age of 13, Paola composed her first song with the group she formed.
In 2006, Paola graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in contemporary production and composition from the Berklee College of Music. While studying at Berklee she had the opportunity to perform with Ruben Blades, Dennis Chambers, Chaka Khan, Victor Mendoza and Joe Lavano.
Paola also studied for a diploma in vocal performance at The Power Institute in London. She has also had the opportunity to study with Robert Fripp and Dorian Holley.
2009 saw the release of her album ‘Semilla’ which featured a host of musicians with whom she collaborated including Agustin Bernal, Miguel Mendez, Picho Torres and many more popular musicians. She went on to tour with a group Paola across North and South America.
Across her performing career, Paola has performed and conducted workshops for a wide range of groups. While in London she was associate with a number of acts including The Tonic, Trip Hop Band and gained a diverse following in the music circuit in England. Her busy travelling career has seen her perform in numerous festivals in North & South America. As a music teacher at Educare Esculea Para el Exito, School of arts, she was teaching music theory, ear training, and sight reading.
Her music glides through a diverse array of music from Latin American, pop and Brazilian music that is laced with R&B styles.
In addition to her musicality, she is also a trained dancer and has acted in musicals for the Company Ensemble tec de Monterrey.
