Alex Lofoco

Alex Lofoco, originally from Rome, Italy, now resides in London, UK, where he has established himself as a prominent bassist with a versatile style that spans multiple genres. Influenced by iconic bassists such as Steve Harris (Iron Maiden), Jaco Pastorius, and Victor Wooten, Alex has crafted a distinctive musical style.

His debut prog-fusion album featured collaborations with renowned musicians including Marco Minneman, Jordan Rudess, Eric Marienthal (Chick Corea Elektric Band), pianist Jesus Molina, and guitarist and co-producer Roby Meola.

Alex is also recognized for developing his own teaching methodology called ‘The Color Scale System’. This innovative approach aims to demystify music theory for both beginners and seasoned musicians alike, focusing on practical application and accessibility.  Alex’s workshop is aimed at simplifying the application of music theory.
