Voice

 

She is a recording and performing vocalist and an educator currently based out of Chennai. Her voice and her musical inclination are a potpourri of Carnatic/Soul with a subtle hint of Jazz and RnB.

She studied performance and contemporary writing and production at the Berklee College of Music, Boston for 2 years. As an Indian Raga Fellow, Harini was one of the opening artists for Arijit Singh at the Shoreline Auditorium in California. She has performed with Shreya Ghoshal, Vadim Neselovskyi, Tigran Hamasyan, ten-time Latin Grammy-Winner Javier Limon, Flamenco percussionist Israel ‘Pirana’ Suarez and Paul Winter among others.

Harini has been commissioned by the Goethe Institute for a series of residencies, performances and multimedia projects. She has recorded and performed music live in 12 different languages so far.

Having over 3 years of experience teaching voice, apart from private vocal lessons, Harini has worked at Taaqademy, Bangalore; Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory, Nepal
Harini is currently involved in a Musical Theatre Production; is working as a session artist for musicians based out of India, America, Paris and the Middle East.
