Kriteka Iyer joined the ITC Sangeet Research Academy as a Junior Research Scholar in 2012, studying under Ustaad Waseem Ahmed Khan of the Agra Gharana. She further honed her skills under the late Padma Vibhushan Dr. Girija Deviji, exploring various genres including Thumri, Dadra, Chaiti, Kajri, Tappa, and Bhajans.
Recognized for her talent, Kriteka was awarded the Tata Music Scholarship at the Saptak School of Music, where she underwent over a decade of intensive training. A highlight of her career was performing Raag Bhinna Shadaj at the Town Hall in Ahmedabad in 2008, where she received acclaim from Ustad Zakir Hussain ji.
With a deep commitment to Indian classical music, Kriteka continues to perform and share her passion, honoring the legacy of her mentors.
