Nikolai Mishchenko is an award winning pianist and composer, currently based in Boston, MA. He attended the Berklee College of Music under Full Scholarship and graduated with the degrees in Piano Performance and Film Scoring, minor in Conducting. He studied with Danilo Perez, John Patitucci, Kenny Werner, Kevin Harris, Vadim Neselovskiy among many other notable mentors. While pursuing a successful artistic career as a jazz and classical pianist, he composes music for visual media in a variety of styles. His works include composing music for advertisements, documentaries, podcasts, short films and exhibitions. Nikolai’s musical compositions were featured in the Central Exhibition Hall in Saint-Petersburg. He also works as a music director for visual media projects such as TV Series “Jinji”.

Nikolai’s composing styles combine orchestral and acoustic formats blended with electronic design. For many years he has been writing in the styles of orchestral cinematic music, ambient, classical crossover, jazz, R&B, electronic. Nikolai’s passion is to unite creative individuals of all fields to discover new ways of creating art as well as bringing a wide audience’s attention to what music could be.
