Nirvan Athreya

Nirvan Athreya – a musician based in Hyderabad, India, has amassed over ten years of global experience collaborating with award-winning artists and working on various film and multimedia projects. A graduate of Berklee College of Music (Class of 2020) and an Asia Tour Scholarship Awardee, Nirvan’s career spans a diverse range of roles in the music industry.

Recent projects include serving as the Music Director for the film ‘Punadhirallu’ (2023) and as the Music Editor for ‘8 AM Metro’ (2023). He showcased his skills as a pianist in Taba Chake’s ‘Udd Chala’ (2023) music video/single. Additionally, Nirvan has worked as a composer for advertisements for brands such as Vogue Eyewear, DailyObjects, Apple, and Trivitron.

Nirvan has also contributed as a Music Producer for various independent artists like Aneesha Dass, Cuentosparaa, Hallowed Smoke, Madiac, and Osvy. He has played a role as a Music Archivist for the ‘Ootachelama’ project, focusing on Adivasi music preservation (2022). Furthermore, Nirvan was the Piano Faculty member at the Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music in 2021.
