Siddharth Gautam

Siddharth Gautam started his musical pursuit as a youngster in school, learning tabla and playing mostly in school functions. Coming from a family of physicians, music was just a hobby and a way to pass time. All that changed when he discovered the guitar in college, and he has never looked back since then.

That initial encounter with the guitar has led to a decade long career in music , where he played the instrument in a variety of roles, playing in the vibrant bar and pub scene of Bangalore, to the glitz and glamour of the Mumbai commercial industry. From playing to large cheering crowds to playing for a handful of discerning listeners at the jazz clubs of Delhi.

Over the years he has made a name for himself as one of the few guitarists pursuing jazz and improvised music in the country and has developed a reputation as a guitar instructor as well.

He Performed live as a guitarist for a number of stalwart bands in the independent music industry such as Thermal and a quarter, The revisit Project, Beer puppets, Radha Thomas ensemble, Rainer Pusch quintet, The Bluefrog Tribute band amongst others.

Siddharth was part of the house band for AR Rahman’s ARRIVED, which was the legendary composer’s foray into the digital world.

Played guitars for Starplus Voice India season 3 , and Colors Jammin season 3

Performed all over the country with SHAAN as a member of his touring band
